Second day in Zurich! It' one loooong day. Morning call at 7, but we had sufficient sleep cuz in Europe, bus drivers can only drive for maximum of 12 hours and they must rest for 12 hours. So we had like 12 hours of rest also lor! Haha. Walked in the neighbourhood before breakfast.. Had breakkie and went out to the balcony to take some pictures with the beautiful Zurich morning. That day, all of us bao and wear 3 layers of clothings like tellie tubbies. Hahaha, cuz we learnt our lesson the day before. Plus, we were going up the mountains that day!
Once you're out of the hotel into the environment it's freaking cold already.
Breakkie~ Loads of cheese
Out to the balcony...
The Mount Titilis Entrance
Queuing for cable car
Haha, shared a cable car with 2 angmoh. They're from germany but staying in Zurich. They were going skiing.I wonder how they skii seriously, cuz it's too cold! It was sunday so lots of the locals went skiing, cooool.
Axel snapping away.
Reached! COLDER. But the weather was awesome cuz it's sunny :D Not foggy or anything!
We're 3km up from the ground!
3 layers of clothing but hands and feet were still freeezing. Better than the day before though, almost died. Hahaha
Axel, Weiken and Ron. From the tourgroup :)
Some pork something. Pretty gooood
Beer is cheaper than water there.
MOOVENPICK ICE CREAM
Pretty famous I guess. It's weird eating ice cream in the cold but my tour guide said it's nice to eat this way, Hahaha.
After ice cream, axel and me went out to the cold again. Took some poloroids. AND I FORGOT TO DO THE VISA DANCE THING T.T
Back down!
Take pictures with souveniors. Too ex to buy hahaha
Hahaha weiken wanted to help me bang the tree and make the snow falling effect
Using my bag to smack the snow down hahaha
Next stop, the lion monument in Zurich! It was carved out by stone I think. And it's a carving of a dying lion. Said to have touched many hearts and some even cried looking at it.
Maple leaf!
Then we started making snowballs with our bare hands and throw them into trees so the snow would fall. It's nicer to make snowballs with bare hands, the shape of the ball is nicer hahaha. But your hands would become super numb afterwards.
LOL I was throwing a ball and the ball is in the air
Shot by my mom. Anyhow one hahahah she don't even know how to zoom. Have to zoom for her first.
Beggar look-alike
I wish I could ice skate inside the frozen pond hahah. I would love to try to ice skate in the winter one dayyyyyy!
Doggies out for a walk. Wonder if they're cold.. should be!
Scary dolls
Next stop, took the bus again to a shopping area. Tourguide brought us into a huge watch shop called Bucherer. Collected free rolex spoons as souveniors HAHAA. ROLEX SPOONS. Super lots of china people inside. Actually, a lot of china people touring in Europe and they're like freaking rich!
Shopping time~ Chocolates shop yummm. bought $100 worth of it. Wanted to buy for friends but I'm afraid it'll be smashed before it reaches Singapore heehee..
The chocolate bars looks like bakua display in Singapore hahah
LOOK! I found kinder surprise!! Singapore doesn't sell it anymore right. Hahahaha..Went to macdonalds after that cuz parents wanted to sit -_- One macdonald meal is like $16 wow. Cost of living is really high in Switzerland.
Souvenior shop again. This is the real SWISS ARMY KNIFE. Remind me of my literature book hahahhaha I forgot the boy's name. Oh yeah Christopher!
I LOVE LUCERNE~ It's really quite a nice place though! But I don't think much people know of this place. Eh wait, I don't even know whether I'm in Lucerne or Zurich or is Lucerne in Zurich? Zurich is in Siwtzerland btw hahahaha confused sia.
HAHAHAHA I asked my mom what is these called? She said kuku bird. LOL HAHAH it's cuckoo clocks.
Swans. Saw many ugly ducklings as well and they tried to climb up the snow to us. Scary! LOL
Walked to some market place. They sell stuffs from diff countries..
IT WAS SOOO HARD TO WALK ON SNOW. HAHAH
Time to meet with the rest of the tourgroup and head for chinese dinner! Spotted the first H&M but it was closed already -_-, but I went to many H&M's in Paris and Amsterdam anyways they're all over the place like giordano. HAHAHA
